5G-Records Kick-off meeting

The kickoff meeting of the 5G-Records project was held from September 2-3, 2020. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, a virtual meeting was convened to allow all project members to attend from their locations. The first meeting turned out to be a successful online event.

The 5G-Records project has eighteen partners from eleven countries. The two-year project aims to integrate 5G components into three use cases and evaluate their performance in the context of professional content production environments. The leaders for each work package were defining all their actions points, technical capabilities and supplied 5G components to find agreements with the rest of the partners on how to move forward together to achieve a strong outcome. Finally, the short- and medium-term tasks and the next consortium meetings were scheduled.
