5G-Records participation at IEEE BMSB 2020

Prof. David Gomez-Barquero, 5G-RECORDS project manager, presented an overview of the project during the panel on "Convergence of Broadcast and Broadband" of the 15th IEEE Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting, that took place online from 26th to 29th of October 2020.
The IEEE BMSB symposium is the premier forum for the presentation and exchange of technical advances in the rapidly converging areas of multimedia broadcasting, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and networking technologies.
During the panel, Prof. Gomez-Barquero also presented a future special issue on “5G for Media Production, Contribution and Distribution” of the IEEE Transactions of Broadcasting. The Call for Papers will be published in March 2021, and the publication date of the special issue will be in March 2022.
