EBU FORECAST 2021

Last 17th November, David Gomez Barquero, project manager of the 5G-RECORDS project represented the project on the EBU FORECAST 2021. FORECAST is the EBU annual 2-day conference on the evolution of media distribution technologies, spectrum issues, regulation, and associated business models.

On the second day of the event, David Gomez Barquero presented the 5G-RECORDS project with a presentation titled “5G-RECORDS: Enabling 5G-based Media Content Production”. In the presentation, an overview of the project was given, which included the main challenges, goals and trials for each one of the uses cases of the project: live audio production, multiple camera wireless studio and live immersive media content production.
